Books are loaned for three weeks, unless specified from the loaning library, and can be renewed four times, unless specified from the loaning library or there is a hold on the item.
The book loan policy also applies to CDs, books-on-tape, and books-on-CD. Periodicals are loaned for three weeks. For overdue print and audio materials there is a fine of $.25 per day per item, excluding days the library is closed.
DVDs are loaned for seven days and may be renewed four times. For overdue movies there is a fine of $.25 per day per item for all DVDs borrowed on or after September 1, 2017, excluding days the library is closed. (All DVDs borrowed before September 1, 2017 follow the fine policy of $1.00 per day per item.)
To use the Internet a patron's account must have less than $5.00 in fines and/or fees. Before checking out any item a patron's fines must be under $5.00.
Unless specified, the Napoleon card/account will be used to check out items regardless of how much money is owed at libraries within the SEO Consortium. If the patron presents a card from another member library and owes fines, the patron may pay the fines at Napoleon or the items may be checked out on the Napoleon card if the fines are under $5.00.
Lost or damaged items must be paid for.
